An Oscar For Emmy

Aspiring actress Emmy Fielding moves to Bishopston to escape her controlling boyfriend. Appearing in a popular TV medical soap, she meets fellow actor Oscar Timpson. They soon are attracted to one another, but their individual circumstances make a future together unlikely. Then, as they are about to star together in a production at the town's theatre, Emmy's boyfriend turns up. Emmy's confused. Who will she find happiness with - if anyone?
