When Kat's mother, Ruth, tells her that her home and shop are under threat of demolition from wealthy developer Sylvester Jordan, Kat resolves to support her struggle to stay put. So when a mysterious vandal begins to target the shop, Sylvester - or someone in his employ - is their chief suspect. However, Sylvester is also offering Kat opportunities that will support her struggling catering business - and, worst of all, she finds that the attraction she felt to him in her school days is still very much alive...
