Jan Jones fell in love with Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer and the 1800s aged about 12, but it wasn’t until a lot later that she wondered if perhaps she couldn’t write a Regency novel herself. Jan is on the committee of the Romantic Novelists’ Association, but spends most of her time writing novels and women’s magazine stories. Her romantic comedy Stage by Stage won the RNA New Writers’ Award in 2005.
