Lynn Knight was born in Derbyshire and lives in London. A writer, editor and lecturer, she is the editor of two collections of short stories and author of Clarice Cliff, Lemon Sherbet and Dolly Blue: The Story of an Accidental Family and The Button Box: Lifting the Lid on Women s Lives. She has also abridged The Diaries of Beatrice Webb and written critical introductions and reviews. She teaches fiction, autobiography and memoir at City Lit in London, and is currently a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Queen Mary University of London.
